In over 28 years of professional competition, he won truckloads of trophies in Observed Trials, Motocross, Class C, and all types of long distance racing in some of the most rugged terrain around the world. He won five gold medals for the U.S. during the International Six Day Trials/Enduros (the Olympics of Motorcycling). Bill’s second greatest love is building trails, so when he isn’t teaching, he is designing and maintaining trails that OHV enthusiasts love to ride. As a lifelong advocate for multiple use, he also uses his leadership status to ensure that the trails remain open for everyone to enjoy. Bill planted the seed at Idaho State Parks and Recreation that started the successful State Trail Ranger program. In fact, he was the first Trail Ranger in the state.
Bill’s vast experience has led to a treasure trove of secrets that he shares with OHV Training™ students. He has applied his broad base of experience and skills to training employees to be safe and efficient … ensuring that OHVs are used as effective tools on the job. In addition, he has taught individuals across America – from kids to older adults – to safely enjoy their favorite sports.
